Summer break!
Much excitement at Emmaville this week with the booking of
a) flights to Japan
b) the Rewind festival (OMD! Soul 2 Soul! ABC!!) (thankfully RP said "blow the budget, let's glamp!" so there will be showers and a clean loo) and
c) the day off after solstice so I can watch unise somewhere. I don't know where yet. If you would like transport to see a sunrise do yell and we will find a henge together.
I am now looking at the diary and realising Cumberbatch Hamlet is the day after Rewind; but at least I booked the day *after* that off for a big sleep! Have ordered a 2015/16 academic diary before it all gets out of hand.
It is such a relief having the FU fund in place at last. I feel like I am making up for 3 years of not much travel all in one go, although last summer was full of amazing short trips. I may try for more balance next year.
I do however have a novella to write, and experiences bring inspiration, says I.
I'm feeling most fortunate at the moment.
