On reflection, am I that bothered about getting sky/ cable?

I could get HD freeview and a PVR instead.

I'd lose Lost, but could get it on Itunes the next day...

Is there anything else I'd really miss?

hm. good to know it works for you. it will therefore probably work for me.

I have however written to solicitor asking her to check - the HIPS report sayd they *do* have it, they say they have *permission* to have it. I would probably like the option and it confirmed in writing. I'm already being a good guy over the alarm not working, and paying an liability insurance. I think 3 things to be a good guy on is a bit much.

Its worth getting the sky package purely for the Sky BBMax. Oddly PC Pro droped through my letterbox yesterday with a look at all the Broadband players and they basically said SkyMax is the only package worth having. Its worth a read. If you are going to online game and download then its simply the best choice. The article explains why.
