Arse, summer, etc

emmzziI fall over and am generally clumsy in the heat (legs are dalmation like and thus covered up until at least September.) For the unititiated this is why I hate cluttered houses with things designed to make me fall over them; it's too much energy coping with getting around. Thus I am excited about volume of built in storage in new house with less tripping opportunities. (And also thinking of calling to ask if girl buying my house would like me to leave some of the pointier storage)
I think last night's trip at the top of the stairs has done something bad to my toe. It's very bruised. Last time I broke it, it did go golf ball like, so I doubt it is broken. I have also managed to mow the lawn but it hurt a lot.
Therefore I need some medicinal alcohol! I am optomistic of being ok to drive to boots to pick up my new specs if I drive on the right side of the foot. Luckily Sainsbury is right next door for booze :-D and an ATM. I suspect £20 on taxis would be amuch better investmentr than trying to walk to the station today. Although £20 is a lot so it's gonna have to be Blue Nun instead of Nice Booze.
