killalla has lent me fan heaters. I may actually be able to move my joints tomorrow, huzzah!

Still no idea if boiler man is coming tomorrow. Ah well. Now I have fan heaters, I have 2 - 3 months to fix central heating,  I am sure...

So, fun weekend, but v. tiring, Bailed on trip to London today (bad me) but I couldn't face all the driving. Anyway, there was fab food of all veggie kinds, inc French toast!, lovely company, fizzy wine, steampunk magicians, and S1 Sherlock which I hadn't seen. How perfect is episode one? Also glad I remembered to plan work carefully tis week so a) I am back for Frankenstein at pictures (the NT Benedict Cumberbund production, check your cinemas folks) and b) am available for early screening of Rock of Ages the movie AT LAST!!!

I did pop in to see Prometheus. 6/10. Fine if you forget Alien existed. Fassbender was very like the android in Logan's Run (the TV series), so I enjoyed that.

Next weekend is much London dancing with the Scots contingent. I'm gonna put on my boogie oogie oogie shoes!

Ep 1 of S1 Sherlock is my favourite episode of all two seasons.

I hope the boiler man does indeed come tomorrow.

It's definitely the best - I think remaking it when they were asked to produce it in a different format was very good for them. Not least because, given an extra half-hour, they seem to have thought "Hang on, we hired Rupert Graves... why didn't we give him something to do?"

And yes, bring on the boiler man! Apparently I am having my electric meter changed tomorrow, some time between noon and five.

I am not sure he is my favourite Lestrade. I need more backstory :) But he certainly adds something.

Also we couldn't work out why Dimmock was called Dimmock when he clearly isn't.

even though 3 was also excellent (although from the outset was counting down to John in danger) everything was a bit weaker in comparison.
